Refund Policy

At The Gas Man, we want customers to be clear on what can and cannot be returned before placing an order.

LPG Gas Cylinders

Due to the nature of LPG gas products, gas purchases are non-refundable once delivered.

This includes:

  • LPG replacement / exchange cylinders

  • Full LPG cylinders

  • Gas supplied as part of a cylinder purchase

For safety, handling, and compliance reasons, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds on gas once the product has been delivered and accepted by the customer.

If there is an issue with your gas cylinder delivery, such as the wrong cylinder size being delivered, please contact us immediately so we can assist.

Empty Cylinders

Empty cylinders may only be returned if they are faulty, damaged on delivery, or incorrectly supplied.

The cylinder must be unused and returned in the same condition in which it was received.

Gas Equipment, Accessories & Gadgets

Gas equipment, accessories, and gadgets may be returned within 7 days of receiving the product if the item is faulty.

This includes items such as:

  • Regulators

  • Hoses

  • Clamps

  • Fittings

  • Burners

  • Gas stoves

  • Other gas-related accessories or equipment

Returned items must be inspected by us before a refund, replacement, or repair is approved.

Faulty Products

If you receive a faulty product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.

To process the return, we may require:

  • Your order number

  • Photos or videos of the fault

  • The original packaging, where possible

  • The product to be returned for inspection

Once the item has been inspected, we will confirm whether the product qualifies for a refund, replacement, or repair.

Refunds will only be processed if the product is confirmed to be faulty and has not been damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, negligence, or normal wear and tear.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • LPG gas once delivered

  • Used gas products

  • Products damaged through misuse or incorrect installation

  • Products returned after the 7-day return period, unless required by applicable law

  • Items bought incorrectly by the customer

  • Change-of-mind purchases

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method where possible.

Please allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Exchanges

Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement product instead of a refund.

This will depend on the product, the nature of the fault, stock availability, and the outcome of our inspection.

Important Safety Notice

Gas products and equipment must be installed, connected, and used safely and according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The Gas Man is not responsible for damage or faults caused by incorrect installation, improper use, or failure to follow safety guidelines.
